I’m Kristy and I’m glad you are here!
I was born and raised in Western PA and meandered my way west to Utah and later landed in Oregon! I’ve lived in the Pacific Northwest for over 15 years now and I love it. I reside with my partner Tony and our pack of dogs, Greta, Niko and Henry. I am a collector of experiences, hobbies and beautiful people. I love being outside taking on big physical challenges as well as hibernating indoors and creating beautiful things with my hands. I cherish my friendships and hold my people close to me, they inspire me daily.
MY APPROACH
I approach my profession as a massage therapist and teacher with great honor and respect. I tailor sessions to the individual and their specific needs. I utilize a wide range of techniques, modalities and work with a diverse population. As a teacher I do the same, I approach an individual or class with respect and honor and encourage students to be their greatest teacher. I truly am honored to guide others in their journey to feeling better in their own bodies. I often say I am training myself and others to move the best we can for as long as we can.
MY VISION
I hope to provide meaningful services and experiences for my clients and students. I hope to continue to evolve through learning and life experiences to provide useful tools for you. I strive to create a safe and fun environment for you to explore whats possible through health and creativity.
MY TRAINING
I have an undergraduate degree in social sciences which provided me with many opportunities and growth as a young adult. It allowed me to explore the country and work with populations that needed some extra direction and attention in the mental health field. I continued my education due to my desire to learn more about the physical being and health of individuals. I studied massage and many massage based modalities. I am a seeker and learner and continue to explore new concepts and techniques regularly. I am a trained yoga instructor and find true passion in teachings others.
